Pflug Hall

Pflug throughout the years

Pflug Hall was purchased from J. Lynn Pflug on October 28, 1965 for $52,500. Pflug was a former mayor of Winter Park, who served a three-year term that began in December of 1957. The building was used by Rollins as rental property until 1966, when the Phi Delta Beta fraternity occupied it as a residence hall. Two years later, a fire started by a student smoking in his room nearly destroyed the facility. Repairs were made that same year by McCree Design and Corporation in the amount of over $6,000. Following the renovations, the two-story brick building continued to serve as a residence hall for some years until its demolition in 2006.
