Copeland Stadium

Construction of the Copeland Tennis Stadium began in February 2002. Though the work was not completed until the summer, a dedication ceremony was held for the stadium on May 10 of the same year. The stadium now features seating, storage space, and a concession area. It was the generous gift of F. Duane Ackerman (’64 ’00H). A 1964 Rollins graduate, Ackerman was a four-year member of the tennis team. He is also a member of the Rollins College Board of Trustees, as well as former chairman and chief executive officer of Bell South Corporation.
