Cahall Sandspur Field and Barker Stadium

The dedication ceremony for the renovated Cahall-Sandspur Field and Barker Family Stadium took place on October 30, 2004, when Rollins soccer team played St. Leo College. During the ceremony, Peter Scott Cahall (’71), Francis H. Barker (’52 ’06H) and his wife Daryl Stamm Barker (’53) were recognized as the primary benefactors to the College’s sports facilities. The newly renovated field has become one of the finest in the Division II owing to its enlargement to meet the requirements of the soccer league. Furthermore, its drainage and watering systems provide a level playing field even in severe weather conditions.

Along with the renovation of the field, the new Barker Family Stadium was built. The new stadium provides chair-back seating for a crowd of 500 soccer fans. The stadium contains locker rooms for men and women’s teams, public restrooms, and a concession stand. In addition, Barker Family Stadium has a modern sound and scoreboard system.
